Church In A Box?

The mime walks in place, not moving forward. He sweats, strains and stretches, yet never reaches beyond his own established parameters.

The white-faced man enters his own self-made box.  He places his hand on the inside of the wall. No one else can see it.  A barrier is set up that separates the mime from those wandering through the busyness of life.  It is a self-imposed separation.  The mime has personally constructed the box.

People stroll past. Some stop, wondering why this individual won't come out and enter their world. They watch him like spectators at a side show.  Some are amused.  Others shake their head as they walk away concluding that this man in the box will never relate to their day-to-day lives.  Many stroll past oblivious to the mime's existence; never perceiving his presence.

The mime exists in his own self-made illusion; separating himself from the reality of the world surrounding him.

Frustration resides in the box.  The walls press in. The pressure is not from the Prince of Peace. The limiting is not from the limitless God. The tension is not from the tender Lord. The separation is not from the relational Savior.  The isolation is not from the "I AM." It's self-imposed.

Mime, come out of the box. Let the world know you. Let the world know the presence of God within you.

Wow!
A gentle, yet powerful presentation of one's inner prison. A wonderful call to live freely as God re-created us to live!!!
